S-Works Turbo RapidAir

We knew we had an incredibly fast base with our unique RapidAir construction. Instead of a traditional three-ply carcass that layers material under the tread dramatically increasing rolling resistance, the RapidAir carcass has only two overlapping plies on the sidewall, which not only allows for smoother rolling quickly, but also allows better grip and flexibility for unrivaled comfort.

Our all-new Gripton T2 component is the fastest and most efficient we have ever developed. We've combined the performance of our Gripton T2 component on the tread with the legendary grip of our Gripton T5 component on the sidewalls. With these two components, the S-Works Turbo RapidAir 2BR in 26 mm saves two watts of rolling resistance compared to the previous tire and adds approximately 1000 kilometers of life to the pair. Are they lighter? Only 230 grams in 26 mm.

As a tubeless tire, the Turbo S-Works RapidAir 2BR is capable of self-sealing punctures when used with RapidAir preventative. With the new Kevlar Blackbelt hybrid protection under the tread, you benefit from 12% more puncture protection with lighter weight and incomparable handling flexibility.

Our new reinforced Zylon rods also exceed hookless burst pressure standards by 200% for ultimate peace of mind.
